Los Angeles Drama Club, is the Country’s Youngest Shakespeare Troupe. We believe that youth from all backgrounds, through the exploration and performance of Shakespeare, can foster self esteem, creativity and excellent in every aspect of their lives.
Through low-cost classes and workshops and an extensive scholarship
program, we identify and nurture young motivated performers and provide them with the space to experience the camaraderie of an arts community, the skills to meet the challenges of the creative process,
and the opportunity to develop a new sense of assurance, autonomy and self-motivation.
Our biannual Shakespeare Youth Festival LA features full productions of Shakespeare’s works performed by the troupe members, ages 7 through 17.
